Fair Trade Events

The two ‘Future of Fair Trade’ events in Wolfville and Halifax were well attended by the public indicating the interest and support that exists for Fair Trade . We heard many positive comments from people who attended on how much they enjoyed Frans VanderHoff and how much his talk resonated with them. It was special to have had Transfair represented in the person of Reykia Fick, along with several delegations interested in the Fair Trade Town designation. At the Wolfville Town Hall workshop on Wednesday the enthusiastic participation of Mayor Bob Stead was considered exceptional. These events offer perspective to our work in Nova Scotia, both for JUDES and Just Us!

	This café provides the largest selection of Just Us! coffee. While enjoying your coffee or tea, you can visit our Roastery and tour our Fair Trade museum. This is a happening place with tourists, our regulars and new visitors discovering this gem within the Valley. You will find us waiting for you at 11865 Highway 1, Grand Pré, Nova Scotia — just off Exit 10 of the Highway 101.

Fair Trade Weeks Tea Tasting

Come help Just Us! in Grand Pré kick off Fair Trade Weeks by attending a Tea Tasting!

The event will include a presentation about the tea producers, medicinal properties, a draw for a gift basket, and (of course) tasting each of the five blends of our Rooibos teas.

Our staff is looking forward to introducing your palate and body to the soothing flavors and medicinal properties of Rooibos tea.

Just Us! is proud to use fresh, local products from Foxhill Cheese, Holmstead, Maple Lane Farms, H&E Keddy Brothers, Green Island, and The Flowercart. We also offer our customers free wireless internet.
