Lorraine Whitman, an Elder of the Glooscap First Nation, approached Just Us! Coffee in 2017 to work on a coffee to help bring respect and support during turbulent times. This coffee is love in a cup, inspired by the seven sacred teachings vital to Indigenous culture. The Mi’kmaq have lived by these teachings for thousands of years.
Let’s all take some time out of each day to stop and reflect on our relationships with Indigenous people. By choosing one of the seven sacred virtues to reflect on.
