COFFEE INFORMATION
Juan Carlos Amaya has been cultivating coffee with his family since 1996, continuing a tradition spanning several generations. His wife and three children all participate in the process of cultivating coffee on their farm, Finca la Joya, or “Jewel,” from harvesting ripe cherries to processing. Amaya inherited a profound love and respect for the environment from his parents, values further nurtured by his association with Café Orgánico Marcala (COMSA) since 2010. Through this organization, he has gained valuable insights into organic agriculture, a love for life, continuous innovation, and the confidence to pursue his goals with creativity. This dedication has led to an exquisite product, reflecting his passion and sense of responsibility.
